Q21 Flasher is designed to bring functions for supported BMW vehicles into one independent application – from calibration and diagnostics to data analysis and vehicle functions. Our goal is maximum flexibility, matched to each model series, its technology and intended use.
iOS · Android™ · WindowsOne platform for mobile devices, workshops and dyno use.
BMW E · F · GVehicle-specific functions across BMW architectures.
B2C · B2BFor drivers, tuners, dealerships and vehicle retailers.
B2C & B2B
For BMW drivers. For every professional business model.
One technical foundation, scalable for tuners, workshops, dealerships, vehicle retailers and sole traders – from a single workstation to multi-site operations.
B2C · DRIVER
Your own vehicle at the centre.
Q21 Flasher displays only the functions that match the identified vehicle, its software version and the active licence.
ECU and TCU software for the registered vehicle
Diagnostics, live data and exportable logs
Vehicle history with software and diagnostic reports
B2B · PROFESSIONAL
The right solution for your business.
Q21 Flasher keeps professional workflows traceable and scales with user count, vehicle volume and the required scope of functions.
For tuners, workshops, dealerships, retailers and sole traders
Multi-user, customer, vehicle and location management
Individual packages and pricing based on functions, scale and support needs
THREE CORE AREAS
One app. Three technical disciplines.
The essential functions are clearly separated while remaining linked to the same vehicle profile.
01 · FLASH & UPDATES
ECU and TCU.
Stock software, updates, approved OTS tunes and Custom Tune for supported engine and transmission control units.
02 · DIAGNOSTICS
Find faults. Understand causes.
Control-unit scans, fault codes, freeze frames, adaptations, CBS and traceable diagnostic reports in the vehicle account.
03 · DATA & DYNO
Measure and analyse.
Live data, configurable signals, CSV export and Dyno Mode for dependable technical evaluation.
ENGINEERING & COMPONENT PROTECTION
Performance is never isolated.
A clean software foundationControl-unit identification, base software, hardware match, connection and supply voltage are checked before tuning.
Engine and charging systemCombustion, air path, fuel system, turbocharger and aftertreatment are calibrated as one connected system.
Thermodynamics and protection modelsTemperature models, torque paths and component limits remain part of the technical assessment rather than being disabled indiscriminately.
Transmission and torque modelDDE, DME and EGS must agree on torque request, torque transfer and transmission limits.
TECHNICAL SCOPE
Details when needed.
Q21 Flasher combines calibration, diagnostics and data analysis for supported BMW E, F and G platforms.
Show technical scope
Engine control units such as DDE and DME and transmission control units such as EGS are represented within one shared vehicle profile.
Depending on the vehicle and approval, functions range from ECU and TCU software to fault memory, freeze frames and adaptations, live data, CSV export and guided dyno runs. BLE, DCAN, ENET or USB connections are offered according to vehicle and hardware.
Q21 Flasher is currently in pre-launch. Supported BMW models, engines, control units, countries and functions will be published in a binding compatibility list before release.
Q21 · COMPATIBILITY FOR BMW, MINI & ROLLS-ROYCE
Defined by technology, not model names.
Select an architecture. Detailed technical information appears only when requested. The technical BMW compatibility overview connects model series, access paths and control-unit generations.
E PLATFORMS · LEGACY TO BN2000
BMW E platforms
From E36 systems with Siemens MS41 to late E9x diesel ECUs such as Bosch EDC17C50, this generation spans several diagnostic environments: DS2 and KWP2000 over K-Line or TxD, followed by BMW FAST and D-CAN. Q21 maps the protocol, bus access and ECU variant to the individual vehicle.
BN2020 · ZGW · D-CAN · ETHERNET
BMW F platforms
With the F Series, the central gateway becomes the core access point. Depending on the vehicle, diagnostics use D-CAN, while programming, coding and high-volume data transfer use fast Ethernet/ENET access through the ZGW, later FEM or BDC. Behind it, the architecture links networks including PT-CAN, K-CAN, FlexRay and MOST.
EVOLVED BN2020 · BDC · ZGW · ENET
BMW G platforms
G platforms continue the gateway-based architecture with BDC, ZGW and Ethernet communication. Q21 evaluates the vehicle order, I-Level, control-unit topology, diagnostic authorisations and protection mechanisms before software or functions are offered.
BMW · MINI · ROLLS-ROYCE
Cross-brand classification by technology.
The platform is not limited to individual body codes. BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles are classified by their electrical architecture, gateway design and installed control units. This allows one technical foundation to work across brands while every release remains vehicle-specific.

No authorisation, certification, endorsement or sponsorship exists. The designations are used solely to describe compatibility and intended use.
Architecture mapping describes the technical development scope; it is not an automatic feature commitment for every vehicle. VIN, hardware, control unit, software version, market, protection strategy and approved Q21 compatibility remain decisive.
